The Interpark integral lift system combines the advantages of the different car handling systems presently available on the market: it allows to deposit and retrieve a car directly on the concrete slab of the car slot similarly to the push-pull systems, but simultaneously it allows to leave the hand brake and the gear engaged similarly to the comb-type and pallet systems.
All that is needed is a recess in the concrete slab where the 2 transfer trolleys can slide.
A similar arrangement can be found in most existing push-pull systems, thus facilitating the exchange of those obsolete mechanisms with a modern technology without need to perform any change in the building structure.
In case of already existing parkings with flush concrete slabs. It is possible to make them compatible with the new system by adding simple steel supports with a moderate investment.
The advantage compared to comb-type systems in terms of civil structure costs is evident: with an equal height of the cars to be handled it is possible to reduce the height of the parking floor by 15 cm (for example in case of cars of 155 cm height a floor height of 180 cm is needed instead of 195 cm with a comb-type system). Furthermore no fixed combs, which require a very precise installation, are needed.
